CDA’s Annual Development Weekend offers dancers an immersive experience designed to broaden both technical and artistic ability.

This four-day intensive brings together a phenomenal group of faculty to provide the Nova Scotia dance community with focused, intentional training rooted in technique, creation, and exploration.

Participants will engage in Ballet, Modern, Improv, and Composition classes, encouraging both skill development and creative risk-taking. Each morning begins with a clinic-style class to cultivate awareness, and set intention for the day ahead.

The weekend focuses on deepening individual artistry, strengthening technical foundations, and fostering curiosity, connection, and growth within a supportive and inspiring environment.
